Make nice looking RPG maps easily.

RPG Map is a tabletop oriented map editor
with the keep it clean & simple philosophy in mind.

About

RPG Map is a tool I’ve built to make maps for my tabletop RPG sessions, with my friends. It’s born from the fact that most existing tools were either looking bad or were simply overly complex to use.

My approach is to make an easy to use tool to create beautiful maps quickly.

You can still access the old Flash-based version (source code available on GitHub)

From 2013 to 2020, the “Cthulhu manor” demo map shows the evolutions of RPG Map

Thank you Sébastien for making this product available to those of us with few resources. I injured my spine and have been forced into disability, so resources are indeed limited. So for now I will take up your offer for free but in the future – not too long from now hopefully – I intend to send some money your way. I want to support talented developers like you who help the community. I remember a time when that was common. It seems pretty rare these days. It may be a little at a time but hopefully it will still help. Thank you very much for your generosity.

Awesome editor, simple, clean, and well optimized for various uses. The only thing that bothered me is that there isn't so much freedom for the furniture and diagonal walls.

The thick walls were way better, but I doubt we'll see a version with them. His roadmap basically doesn't include RPG Map.

Any chance we could have a return to the thick walls? I do love a lot of the other newer features, but I just really loved the old walls.

Really love this editor. It is utterly brilliant.
My requests for future updates would be:
Diagonal doors and windows (to go with the diagonal walls)
Some way of copy/pasting an area so you can move it from one map to another. For example if you have worked on three buildings in separate maps, a way to bring them together into one map would be amazing (at the moment I just do it in Photoshop)
    Keep up the great work!

Aftwe clicking new I can NOT add anything. I.E. Clicking furniture just pops up one button with color choice for that button. ???? Tryed shift clicling, control clicking, alt clicking. nada
    Deleting!

I'm having trouble importing one of my maps as an image. I'm a mac user and it worked once when I exported it to Roll20, but it's not working now. I don't really know why, but could you help me out?

I've been looking for a good basic offline mapping tool. This looks like it fits the bill nicely! Thanks for making this and being generous on the license of content created by it. I would be willing to pay for an updated version of this app!

I would like it if you guys added different kinds of furniture. like, a kitchen setup, a bathroom setup, a bedroom setup, etc… anything that you guys think would go in a house or office. maybe even add an office setup who knows. but I just really believe that it would be so much easier if those things were there. Oh, and before I forget, please make it so there is a second floor. You can't just have staircases and no second floor. Like bruh what the hell. thanks though for the great RPG MAPMAKER. But seriously if you could add those things. It would make it a whole lot better.

How do you make a second floor
I already know there’s stairs but like
Can you make it so when you tap the stairs you go to the second floor so you don’t have a make a separate second floor of the house?? (I hope you understand)
