My tabletop RPG map editor is now known as ANAmap!

ANA stands for Anaximander, a greek guy known for creating one of the first world-map.

Current version is 7.1 and features:

  • easy to use and ergonomic interface
  • available on any browser without any installation (requires Flash 11.2+)
  • beautiful maps without any effort
  • can be saved to JSON or PNG, and printed directly from the app
  • many generic assets to fit all your needs
  • text labels
  • available in English and French

    I love this tool.
    I've used things like Dungeon Painter and Campaign Cartographer.
    Nothing really hits that sweet spot of ease and detail.

    Really, the only feature I would ask for would be something like water, lava, or other textures. Maybe even a colour brush that functions the same as the wall tool.

    Very nice but sometimes (a lot, actually) I need to reload the page to be able to rotate objects or, well, do anything at all. Frustrating since it really is useful to me. Would be great to be able to download a desktop version.

    Really nice work. Would be great to be able to install it on my local machine.
    I have used this now to create a 3 level dungeon and had great success. Allowing us to use text on the map means that I can place monsters and items using letters to great effect. I love the KISS principle and love that I can create a map and a story with visual cues in as little as half an hour. Keep up the good work!
