When I was a kid, I wrote some very simple “OS” to run my Basic programs on Atari ST. By this time, Atari ST operating system (called GEM) was a fully graphical one, just like Windows nowadays, and I loved the idea of executing stuff by typing commands, just like on Amstrad CPC or MS-Dos.
