“2 buttons control / Growing”
2nd (Overall) 9rd (Fun) 9rd (Graphics) 9rd (Sound)

How to play

ARROWS or WASD
Move
SPACE
Select/release minions
R
Restart level

You are the Lich King. The annoying City Watch is messing around your domain so you take the only decision that fits such a situation: you invoke minions to kill everyone :)

In Delicious Cortex, you don’t control your minions directly. You just lead them around and try to give them orders. But hey, they’re zombies, so don’t expect to much.

Fantastic. One button to control a complex system is a great idea. The squeaks of dying zombies really made this good for me, though.

Hey, neat little game! I think the trees in the forest are little too saturated.
at first glance it looks like some kind of green slime – rather not like a forest. perhaps make it darker?
had a fun experience, thank you!

this game has such a range of puzzles yet is simple with great glow effects and the comedy at the end made me laugh a bit. Overall its a great game!

    A little perfect game :-)

Every time I try one of your LD-Games, I guess more and more levels with new units, mechanicals and puzzles to enlarge. Then the next LD-Game that has nothing to do with the previous, again imagine new levels, puzlles…

Your imagination is wonderful. Your coding is excellent. You are the best.

Excellent game! Lot's of fun seeing all these little monsters pushing some humans against some bush and just rip-em off with strange garglings.

    Spinal Cord!

I love the anims, the little glows, the level design and last but not least: the core concept is just plain FUN! You just hit something there. In my opinion, you found the right combination and that makes a great fun game to enjoy. Encore bravo :)

Hello deepnight, awesome game, as always. I really like the concept of having an army following or attacking.
I'm glad you switched the pixel art style to a more round shape, even though it's weird to say :).
I can't wait to have the source, will it be possible to have the missing libs with this one?
