City Road (sorry for my 10yrs old English) is born from the desire to create some sort of board game that could be played on a computer.

The game itself is some sort of “live your life” simulator, and your main objective is to become rich (don’t we all want to do that at some point?). You had to go to work, buy things, fuel your car, repair it, and explore the city.

The project was never finished, and only contains a very small fraction of all the features I had in mind. You basically can only play the first day which could be summarized like this (spoiler alert):

  1. Go to the office,
  2. Get a “repair this random computer” mission from your boss,
  3. Go out for lunch at the nearby mall,
  4. Buy some electronic components to repair the computer (yes, in my world, when your boss asks you something, you have to do it, and you have to cover all the expenses with your own cash)
  5. Go back to the office, repair the computer, get congratulated,
  6. Go to bed.

City Road is buggy as hell and far from complete, but still, it’s one of the games I’m the most proud of.
