Your sister, Lice, is held inside the Hammer Watch prisons. You must sneak inside and find her.
Beneath the City is a turn based stealth game where each move counts. My initial goal was to create a stealth roguelike using a 3D isometric view.
I finally switched to back to top-down view because of the timing and the controls (3D iso is no good with keyboard controls). Beneath the city lacks proper ending, and different enemies, but all the basics are here.

I really enjoyed this game. The mixture of stealth and puzzling was perfect.
Awesome game! Has me wanting more :)
Great game.
So great that I decided to study it before the next ludum dare. But some files are missing. I know you wrote in the readme that it is not meant to be compilable. But still I'd like to know how everything works. Is there a place where can I find the missing libraries ?
Great game, very creative!
Very cool, I would love to see more!
Is it just me or does the thief in this look a lot like a miniature version of Matthew the thief from fire emblem?
What a fun game. You did a great job and we'd love to see more!
Reanimating the sister as a boss bad guy would be a sweet twist.
Interesting an fresh. I like it!
Nicely done…really enjoy the Thief universe so it's a great little addition to the series :)
Incredible. Simple but fun, and had built up the right atmosphere despite its small scope.
Definitely looking forward to more.
I really enjoyed this little game, would love more content
Good job sir ;)
All fo love
Really excellent, but more than anything else makes me crave a Thief-roguelike.
heh, the ending was… suprizing :)
Cool little game, i would love to see more.
I like it
nice
Loved it, I feel it was just challenging enough. The music was a great pace, and I hope you extend greatly on this particular game.
A very charming game; I would rather like to see this become a full game :). Very good job!
This is fantastic! Any chance you'll make additional levels for this, or maybe even a level editor? I do love me stealth games after all, especially Thief.
Mechanics, art, and music are all very well done, and in 48 hours at that. Very impressive.
