As you said, platformers require time for the gameplay to feel right. Even so, I don't think many people could do that in 7 hours :)
The text is rather bitter though ! Is it what life taught you personally (from being betrayed and stuff I mean), or was it a viewpoint that you figured someone could have ?

Even though I try to add some personal general ideas to it, the text is written to fit the mood of the game.
Creative mechanics. Gorgeous tree spreading. Lovely easing on jump animation. Suddenly I felt urge to play Lost Vikings.
