48h version
The building is on fire? Nah, not today.
This game was created in 48h for Ludum Dare 48 entry. The theme was “Deeper and deeper“.
I definitely spent too much time tweaking the fire effect but I’m pretty happy with the final result anyway :) I couldn’t implement everything I wanted to get closer to the actual theme, but the general idea was to make a game where you really feel that things are getting worse and worse, and out of control at some point.
The initial intent was to make the final levels feel like “you can’t stop the fire anymore, you only have to survive and find your way out“, but this didn’t make it to the 48h game.
Extended version
Nuclear Blaze received lots of positive feedback, and as a matter of fact, my 3yrs old kid also loved firefighters stuff, so I decided to turn this jam project into a full game on Steam and ItchIO :)

I love this game but it froze and would not unfreeze so I had to reload
It'd be nice if you made it so if you press P in your games it also pauses, because, I like to use the fullscreen feature and it sucks when I have to stop what I'm doing, (and possibly die in the proccess) escape, then click out of the box. Thanks!

That's a good idea, I'll add this possibility to my future games and see if I can update Nuclear Blaze too.

Ohh… Will Survive be on Deepnight? Or do you expect money from it so it won't be on Deepnight for free? Or will there be a 48hr version? OO! Can you give a 48 demo kind of version of what you have so far?? Has been 4.5 months… (Found your blog XD, also sorry about the comment spam I'm just posting ideas as they come to me, but I would fix if you made a sign in type of thing on this website so I could delete and edit my comments).
Maybe the next game could be called "Deepknight".

Perhaps add games like "Sabatoge 2" or "Nightclub Shootout 2". Extensions or such, that would take less time, but extend the gameplay of already popular games. Also you wouldn't have to think of a concept. Also maybe the next game could be something like sploision man?
Maybe add easter eggs with your games.
Could use some sound.
Some two player games would be kinda cool.
