Atomic Creep Spawner : source code 26 | ♥ 1

I released the ACS source code. You will need to download Haxe to compile!
Few extra notes:

  • FlashDevelop as IDE
  • Photoshop was used for all the art
  • Music was generated using AutoTracker (included, python required to run it)
  • Sounds were generated using LabChirp and SfxR

Yes, mostly because of the Hash/Map and callbacks changes. I’ll try to fix that if I can find some spare time.

Hi, we actually use a pre-release of Haxe internally, which could be the reason here. I hope the Haxe 3 release will solve this issue…

I will try on a fresh install PC to check the problem with Cinematic.hx . This class relies on haxe Macros, so maybe that’s the problem for some reasons.

Have you found anything suspicious yet?

I want to get to know Haxe a little better so i can hopefully participate LD48 too. Therefore i wanted to hack a little bit around with your source codes.

It seems you a very good developer and your games are awesome.

I tried to make some changes in cinamatic.hx to try to fix the problem but i didn’t succeed.

I get an error while compiling your sources =/

    src/mt/deepnight/Cinematic.hx:327: characters 17-18 : Unknown identifier :

(Haxe Compiler 2.10 – Linux (had to use ‘/’ instead of ‘\’ for swf-lib in the hxml file))

I’m not sure that 2.10 is the latest version of the Haxe compiler? Can you check for any update maybe?

I’ll try to compile Haxe from sources (tomorrow?).
As I recall, I had a similar problem with haxe-highlighter for regexps, while I had no problem on my previous install..

      Same here. Great game.
I’m also programming but what you’ve done here in 48h I maybe do in … 6 month ? maybe?
Technically I’m also very limited by my own “skills”. Hopefully I could learn something from your code.
      Keep up this great work.
